Thinking about maternity or newborn photos
but feeling a bit overwhelmed?
If you’re pregnant or have a new baby, there’s a good chance you’ve thought about photos at least once — and then immediately felt overwhelmed by the timing, the cost, or the idea of adding one more thing to an already full season.
I know because last February I was going through the exact same thing, sitting on the couch in front of the air con. I didn’t even want to think about being photographed in all of my fat, hot, sweaty glory (I swear that pregnancy glow everyone talks about is literally just sweat!) BUT in the end, I’m really thankful that I did it.
So for the month of February, I’m offering something simple — the kind of nudge I wish I’d had myself.
I’m waiving the session fee for maternity and newborn photography, and including a 10×7” matted print and a $100 print credit, as a way to make starting the process feel easier.
This isn’t a competition, and there’s no catch. Everyone who applies and qualifies will receive the offer. If you’d like to purchase more images from your session — I’d love that! But there’s absolutely no obligation to do so.
A quick note on timing, because this often comes up:
February is about planning, not rushing.
To qualify, your planning appointment needs to take place in February. That’s when we’ll talk everything through and lock in your session in a way that actually works for your family.
Your baby does not need to be due in February, and your photoshoot itself does not need to happen in February.
Your session can take place at a time that suits your family, any time up until the end of July.
The first step isn’t a photoshoot. It’s a relaxed, in-studio planning appointment where we talk through timing, what kind of session would suit your family, and how the whole process works — including pricing — so you can decide if it feels right.
You don’t need to have outfits picked, dates locked in, or a clear plan yet. That’s what the planning appointment is for.
